Knock Knock

Chanced upon this little cute cafe in Melbourne when we walked back to our hotel one day. Decided to have our brunch there on the last day before we leave Melbourne. I ordered poached eggs with sour dough and eva ordered a knock knock big breakfast. Food was pretty good and I really love the dark chocolate spoon that i ordered! It was so good hehe! Guess i just can't say no to chocolate :p

Saveur's Pasta - $4.90

Pasta tossed with chilli oil, fine-chopped Japanese konbu & sakura ebi with minced pork sauce. Love how they present the pasta in such a pretty way. 

Duck Confit - $12.90 

Duck leg confit served with homemade mashed potato, sauteed shitake mushroom, orange segments and orange infused jus. This is the popular dish i saw on instagram, lol! Seems like everyone is ordering this dish for sure whenever they visit Saveur. Love the mashed potato but the duck confit is slight salty to my liking.

Seabass - $14.90 

Pan-seared sea bass served with diced sauteed potato and crabmeat, french beans and caper vinaigrette. I LOVE THIS!! Personally think that this is much nicer than the duck confit, hehe!

BKK, what can i say beside shopping, eating and massage? lol! Didn't take much pictures like last year as we were all too busy shopping and eating. Look at our loots for the entire bkk trip! Cheers to our 2nd trip to BKK :D

Mr Jones Orphanage (BKK)

Many says that this is one of the must visit cafe in Bangkok. I must say that the whole ambiance and the environment is really worth visit for, but I won't recommend for their food. It's not awful but nothing special about their cakes and desserts. We ordered some macarons, red velvet cake, kit-kat monster, chocolate mud pie and carrot cake to share. To be honest, I was quite disappointed by their desserts but i really love the interior design of the cafe.  :)

This was pretty decent but i'm sure there's better one. 

Chocky Mud Pie

I personally think that this was the best dessert out of everything we ordered.

Carrot Cake

This was quite good though my friend said it was a bit dry.

Overall, I think it's still worth checking out as the concept and design is really unique and adorable in its way. There are 2 outlets in BKK and the one we went is located at Thong Lor which is quite far away from the town area.

Happy New Year 14'

The past year had been great and i am really thankful for everything and everyone i met. Thanks for those who always stand by my side and support me regardless of the distance. Though there were ups and downs for sure, but i've learned and grow so much. Words won't be enough to sum up the whole year but i would say that it was a really fruitful year with countless unforgettable experiences and memories.
