HEAVY FOOD POST

Do not proceed if you are hungry..hahaha just kidding!! CONTINUE SCROLLING AND DROOLING AT THE SAME TIME! x)

Finally got to try this after so many failed attempts because the queue was just insanely long every time I went. We went for an early dinner that day and got seated immediately without queuing, yeay! Ordered salmon sashimi (I deleted the pic wth), scallop mentaiyaki, tenderloin steak and ebi fry salmon aburi roll to share~ Absolutely love the salmon sashimi and the aburi roll!! The salmon sashimi was so so so thick I can't even! Salmo aburi roll is too perfect because everything in the sushi is what I love!! Europe Day 5 Visuals - France

Day 5 was basically spent on coach as we were leaving France to Switzerland. Visited a winery, Cave de Dégustation before we left France and we got to do some wine tasting there. I guess I'm not a wine person, everything taste similar to me, lol. Maybe one day I will learn how to appreciate it, perhaps. As for the last picture, the highlight is actually the cheesy grilled potato. It tasted so damn good, I wish i could have more of it!

Such a short post, hahaha till then!

Kilo at Pact - Kampong Bugis

Wasabi Tuna Tartare - $22
avocado, sesame seeds, onion sprouts, flour chips

Squid Ink Rice - $28
prawns, crispy baby squids, fried basil, egg yolk

Cream of Ebiko Angel Hair Pasta - $27
smelt roe, tiger prawns, chives

I just realised I didn't blog about this amazing Kilo at Pact which i visited long ago, lol! Have been eating too much good food with my certified foodie friend, lol! Anyway, we went to the one at Kampong Bugis, heard that there's one at Orchard Central too but im not too sure if they offer the same menu. We ordered the wasabi tuna tartare, squid ink rice and cream of ebiko pasta to share. I can't decide which item is the star of the meal because everything was just simply amazing. It was my first time trying the tuna tartare and i was so amazed that the combination of wasabi and avocada can work so well! Just can't stop eating it and we wiped it clean before the mains were served, hehe! Look at the beautiful egg yolk on the squid ink rice!! I was so reluctant to burst the egg yolk..haha!! I am not very good in describing the food but I can ensure you both the squid ink rice and ebiko pasta taste really good! The food is equally awesome as the presentation, worth every penny and calories, lol!

This outlet is an al fresco concept restaurant and they only offer dinner from Mon to Sat, reservation is strongly encouraged..lol!

#19 Unknown homesick

We are torn between nostalgia for the familiar and an urge for the foreign and strange. As often as not, we are homesick most for the places we have never known.

Europe Day 4 Visuals - Paris, France

I don't think I can get enough of the architecture here, everything is so magical. It was such a pity that we didn't pay a visit in the Louvre museum because we got no time for it :( #badthingaboutfollowingtourlol I have seen numerous pictures of the interior online and i'm in awe, hopefully i'll have the chance to visit there in the future. According to the itinerary planned, we were given almost the whole day to shop at Lafayette, a place where you can find all the branded stuff. The mall is so crowded with tourists and everyone was really crazy with the buying. Well, I bought my first prada wallet here, hehe! AND we tried the famous pierre herme macarons here after we were done with the shopping. I can't remember what are the flavors that we chose but omg they are really really good, one of the best macarons i have ever had! Went for dinner afterwards and we opted to go for night sight-seeing at some signature tourist attractions. Nothing much but we were quite happy to see the Eiffel Tower at night, lol! The highlight of the night has got to be the Moulin Rouge cabaret which offering the music dance entertainment and some amazing acrobatic tricks. I must say that it was really an eye opener for me and definitely worth to watch in Paris! Photography and videography are not allowed so no photos of the cabaret..lol!

Till then, to be continued~
