Mu Parlour

I did some review online before visiting Mu Parlour and apparently their burger is highly recommended. We ordered a Mu Platter to share, it comes with 2 burgers (any choices), a side of salad, buffalo wings and garlic fries. For the burger, we had No.1 (Beef, Monterey Jack, Streaky Bacon, Gherkin) and No.11 (Beef, Avocado, Streaky Bacon, Mu Secret Sauce). I personally thought that No.11 is a must try and it's way better than No.1..hehe! Must be the avocado and the Mu secret sauce. The beef patty is generously spread with mashed avocado and it just taste heavenly with the melted cheese and their secret sauce..omg!  On a side note, i have become a fan of avocado ever since i came back from Aussie..hahaha! The wings and fries are quite decent as well. Consider the price of the burger is $15+ each, I really think the platter is such a good deal because it comes with 2 sides and it's only priced at $38!!

Mu Parlour is located at 2nd level and we almost missed the entrance because the signboard is a little bit too small imo, lol! The place is not really crowded that night and i love that their tables are not too close to each other so that we can have some privacy while talking with our friends. And also we got to sit by the full glass window which is pretty nice though there isn't any nice view outside, lol!! Overall we had a good time there as the food and service is relatively good, will definitely go back for their dessert next time :)

Espresso Garage

Went a long way to this cafe with my jb cafe-hopping buddy, Shen Sim on a lazy Sunday. We lost our way so it took us almost one hour to reach there from my house, i almost fainted from hunger, lol! This cafe is located at Puteri Harbour and there wasn't much patrons when we visited. Shen Sim ordered a greek salad and i-cant-rmb-whats-the-name-of-her-coffee while I ordered a salami panini and a mocha. The food was quite nice though the portion is quite small, maybe i was just too hungry. Ohh, we ordered a tiramisu to share as well, not the best but quite decent. The food there was quite pricey in my opinion, we spent around RM100 for all the items above. However, the place is really ideal if you want to dine at somewhere quiet or maybe spend some alone time here. My friend told me that it's quite nice for chill out at night also, the boss will occasionally organize some little quiz game and play with the guests and I thought it's pretty cool!

Beauty of Azen

You can easily know my current addiction for this type of stone/gem accessories. I admit I have absolutely zero understanding of what kind of stones they are but all of them are just too pretty, so I foresee myself to...invest buy more in the future..hahaha!

The 7th Cylinder (CLOSED)

This was a while back when Joanne and me decided to explore the cafe at Kampong Glam. We even printed the map that was provided by cafehopping.sg for easy reference, lol! Initially we wanted to try Artistry but they were having a private function so we continue to look for somewhere else to settle our dinner. Decided to give The 7th Cylinder a try despite there's only one table of guests at that time? I later found out that this cafe was quite new at Haji Lane area, having only opened earlier this year. You will see a whole rack of helmets and bike magazines displayed when you enter the cafe, I thought it was pretty cool as they decorated the cafe with the bike related stuff to enhance the ambiance. And there's also a vintage looking Vespa just in front of the counter!

For the food, Joanne ordered the creamy wild mushroom while I ordered the Pepperoni Chopper. As we were super hungry at that time, we decided to order the waffle potato to share as well. For my favorite food item on that night, it has got to be the waffle potato! The fries are so crispy and it comes with the Thai chili sauce which i love! Can't remember what did we order for drinks but I remember there's this red velvet drink on the menu, pretty interesting! They are also famous of their huge macarons but we didn't try it because we were too full at that time...haha!
